The AAIN Conference

This is the only Africa and continental wide conference focused on Agribusiness Incubation.

Africa’s largest African Agribusiness Conference and Expo was first held in Nairobi in 2015 where it attracted over 450 delegates in Nairobi, Kenya.  The number of delegates in Ghana Accra in 2016 were over 900.

In 2018, this business boosting event will be held in Dakar, Senegal from the 7th to 9th March, 2018.

The 3 day event will focus on agribusiness development in Africa, how agribusiness incubation can be used in transforming the agriculture landscape, address and develop solutions to take charge of the opportunities for job and wealth creation.

Summary Outcomes 2016

-900 delegates participated and shared in the agribusiness agenda development
and shared vision.
– 518 agribusiness deals developed to promote enterprise and increase
investments and over 58 incubated exhibitors profiled for acceleration. The
boot camp further generated 18 ideas worth investing.
– Launch of the African Youth Day in Agribusiness as a lobby platform
– The signing of the MOU between the Africa Union and AAIN to promote the
Africa Agribusiness Incubation – Programme (AAIP) and Agenda
– Networked over 50 international organisation
– 25 young social media enthusiasts were trained on social media reporting
-New technologies introduced including a training on use of drones for smart
agriculture
